겨유 Kyeoyou

서울에서 활동하는 이경윤은 공간과 이주가 사람들과 맺게 되는 관계에 관심을 갖고 〈The House of Old Family〉이라는 사진 시리즈를 진행하고 있다. 틈틈이 써둔 짧은 글의 파편들을 이어 시나리오를 쓰고 그것을 베이스로 영화를 만들고 있다.


Seoul-based photographer Kyeoyou pays attention to how humans relate to space and migration — working on a photography series The House of Old Family. She gathers fragments of writing from her spare time into scenarios, using them as a base to make movies.

향 Incense

단편영화 〈향〉은 매일 밤 알 수 없는 불안에 잠 못 이루는 예리의 이야기다. 친구들을 만나 마음속 깊이 자리 잡은 공허함을 채우려 하지만 서로 소통하지 못하고 계속해서 각자의 감정만을 늘어놓게 된다. 위태롭고 불안해 보이는 예리는 골목에서 그리고 공원에서 만난 의문의 두 사람에게 예상치 못한 묘한 위로를 받게 된다.

A short film Incense tells a story of Yeri who cannot fall asleep at night due to unknown anxiety. She tries to fill the void in the pit of her stomach as meeting her friends; nevertheless, there is only a lack of communication filled with consecutive soliloquies. Unstable and insecure looking Yeri encounters strangers at an alley and park and gets some uncanny comfort.
