박론디 Rondi Park

서울을 기반으로 활동하는 박론디는 개인과 집단의 경계에 대한 관심을 바탕으로 다양한 사회현상에 대해 이야기 하고 있다. 주로 기록 속의 이미지와 사건에 대한 정보를 조사하고 편집하여 표현한다. 페미니스트 콜렉티브 2905에서 활동하고 있으며, 전쟁 후 여성의 삶을 다룬 전시를 준비 중이다. 2019년, 공간 백색소음에서 〈Please remove this protective film before use〉전시를 진행한 바 있다.

Rondi Park discusses various social phenomena based on her interest in the border between individuals and groups in Seoul. She majorly examines information about images and incidents on records, then, edits and expresses. She is working as a part of Feminist Collective 2905 and preparing an exhibition about postwar female life. Her formal show was Please remove this protective film before use at WHITE NOISE in 2019.

령리한 너구리

〈령리한 너구리〉는 재작년 9월부터 북한 정세에 관한 박론디의
개인적인 감상을 담은 드로잉이다. 이 작업들은 작가의
어린 시절, 반공교육과 함께 자라난 전쟁에 대한 막연한 공포와
국가적 프로파간다에 대한 실망에서 기원하고 있다.
각각의 이미지는 남북한 미국 간의 실시간의 상황을 옮기기도
하고, 삼국에 대한 무조건적인 반감을 드러내거나, 아무런 의미
없이 스케치의 바탕이 되는 애니메이션 “령리한 너구리”를
변형시키기도 한다. 이 프로젝트는 결국 집단에 대한 공포와
실망에서 기원한 생각들과 감정들을 이용해 ‘개인적인
프로파간다’를 생성하는 것을 목표로 두고 있다.

Cunning Raccoon is a drawing project about
Rondi Park’s personal impression of the North
Korean situation since September, two years
ago. These works have originated from her vague
fear towards war and disappointment in national
propaganda in her childhood with anti-communist
education. Each image describes the real-time
monitoring of the relationship between two Koreas
and the United States, revealing a blind aversion to
those three nations, or meaninglessly transforming
the animation “Cunning Raccoon” the base of her
sketches. As a consequence, this project aims
to generate “personal propaganda” by using
the thoughts and feelings arisen from the dread
and disappointment towards a group.
